Thank you for choosing Kami Laux Photography! So…you’ve tentatively scheduled your session and you’re probably asking yourself…what happens next? What should I expect? What on earth are we going to wear? I have designed this personalized site so you’ll have links to all the information you need in one place! Everything can be done online.
You will need to do 5 things before your session (see below for the links):
1. Read and sign Client Policies form.
2. Check out the “What to Wear” guide.
3. Check out the “Wall Inspiration” guide.
4. Fill out and submit your Client Information Survey.
1. First things first! We’ve talked about a date and I’ve penciled you in on my calendar…however, your session is not set in stone until you review the Client Policies and your session retainer fee is received. Please head on over to review and sign the Client Terms & Policies form.

2. After we receive the session fee retainer your session is “officially” reserved. Session retainers should be paid within *5 days* of tentatively booking your session. If the session retainer is not received within 5 days, your tentative date is no longer held, and is released without notice. You can send your session fee to: Kami Laux Photography, 14642 Copper Springs Way, Fishers, IN 46040 or call Kristin at (734) 558-0318 to pay by Visa or MC.
3. Okie dokie….now that you’re all set, on to the fun stuff!! I’ve included some links to resources I provide to help make your experience with Kami Laux Photography as seamless as possible. Below you will find a link to the ever-so-helpful “What to Wear?” guide. Clothing is a very important detail to consider when you are going to be photographed…you want something the flatters and compliments your best features and something that coordinates with the location you choose. The days of solid color polo shirts and khaki pants are SO over. I get so many people asking….what should we wear? Pattern? Solid? Matching? So…I put together a handy guide of suggestions to help you make your clothing choices. I love helping clients find that perfect look. If you have questions, PLEASE do ask. I have gone shopping on a budget (or no budget) for clients and I frequently send clients links to outfit suggestions online if they prefer…I am here to help you and realize choosing clothing can be a bit overwhelming!

4. Check out the “Wall Inspiration Guide” to get some ideas flowing about how to display your portraits. Your life is ART, so show it off and enjoy it!! I have put together several wall gallery ideas that would look great in any size or part of your home.
